Christmas comes early for Ruby + Ed thanks to Fuse Digital

Ruby & Ed

Award-winning digital marketing agency, Fuse Digital, has created a full e-commerce website for glamorous slipper company Ruby + Ed in readiness for the run-up to the all important Christmas trading period.

The website will be one of the main channels to market for Ruby + Ed, which sells around 80% of its ultra stylish indoor footwear over the festivities. The previous Ruby + Ed website, also developed by Fuse Digital, recently received a nomination at the Fresh Creative Awards.

The entire range, which covers women, men and kids (plus loungewear and nightwear for the first time), is available to buy online. Customers can also now request brochures and sign up for regular updates on new products and promotions.

A team at Fuse Digital, led by Rik Pipe, Account Director, has also built an equally impressive back-end content management system that allows staff at the Melton Mowbray-based firm to update content on the website.

Explains Rik Pipe: “Usually with e-commerce sites something has to be sacrificed, be it the design or functionality. With the new Ruby + Ed site, you get the best of both worlds. We are confident the new website will play an important part in the ongoing expansion of the business.”

The launch of the new website will be supported by a major email marketing push, initially aimed at existing customers. Traffic to the website will be monitored using Google Analytics.

Adds Charlotte Johnson, Product and Sales Director at Ruby + Ed: “We are committed to revolutionising the slipper market in the UK and we believe this new site will go a long way towards helping us achieve this goal.”

Ruby + Ed slippers are also available at more than 90 stores across the UK, USA and Europe including Selfridges, The General Trading Company, Liberty and Fenwick Bond Street.
