Bags of online engagement with launch of Mr Porky's website
Mr. Porky, the UK's biggest-selling pork scratching brand, has launched a brand new consumer website. The site has been designed and built by Midlands award-winning digital marketing agency Fuse Digital, in collaboration with Mr. Porky's above-the-line agency, Big Communications.
The Red Mill owned brand, recently purchased by Tayto, has set its new site in a virtual pub, with a number of interactive areas to explore and engage with the Mr. Porky brand.
The pub has its own barmaid who talks to visitors and helps them navigate the site. Visitors are able to learn more about their favourite pork scratchings snacks, discover more about Mr. Porky himself and enjoy a few fun surprises too.
The pub also features an interactive pick-up-and-play darts game. The game is hosted by Peter Manley, the world number five darts player, who is now sponsored by Mr. Porky.
Mr. Porky Head of Marketing, Sarah Nunn, commented:
The new site strikes a perfect balance of information and entertainment, and puts the brand in its natural environment of a traditional British pub. It also gives us a great opportunity to involve Peter Manley, who we're very proud to be sponsoring. We're sure that fans of Mr. Porky will love the online experience.
This is just the first phase of Mr. Porky's growing digital activity. New additions to the site will follow, along with increased online presence.
